Listed here are some of the specific successful predictions in my country posts that I have published on my website for the year 2024-25, that is, for the period from around March 20, 2024 to around March 20, 2025. (I had earlier hosted some of this content on Blogspot, but I realised that the platform has become too outdated, so moved this to Substack.)

I do not list them all the successes here: for some predictions, while very satisfactory to me as a forecaster, unbelievers would say, oh this happens every day, what big deal! A lot of different types of accidents come under such category. In addition, while I cover a lot of countries in my predictions, I do not track news from all the countries to find out what happened, otherwise all my time would go into tracking news rather than do more research on astrological stuff! Hence, sometimes I won’t even know if some predicted event has indeed happened.
This post will be a sticky for the year 2024-25, and I will keep updating it with some of the predictions I make. As a reader, if you know of a very successful prediction which you think I should put it here, do let me know!

Turkey, disturbed State and strengthened people during Winter 2024-25 period

Prediction: "The state looks highly disturbed. The opposition and/or the people look strengthened, whereas the ruling power … look[s] weakened or disturbed."

What has happened:
On March 19, 2025, Istanbul’s mayor, Ekrem İmamoğlu, a key rival of the current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was arrested, throwing the Turkish democracy into chaos. Hundreds of thousands of people are out on the streets, protesting. My prediction may seem the very opposite, given that an opposition politician has been arrested and yet I had predicted the opposition and people look strengthened. Yet, this deeply unpopular move by President Erdoğan has probably strengthened the resolve of people and the CHP (the main opposition party) and has definitely led to the biggest popular protests in Turkey since the Gezi Park protests in 2013.

India, communal violence during March 2025

A violent clash broke out on March 17, 2025, between Hindu and Muslim communities in the central Indian city of Nagpur, fueled by religious tensions, provocative statements by political leaders and misinformation.

Brazil, death of a sportsperson during Summer 2024-25

A 39-year-old sprint triathlon champion, Aninha Zuleica Xavier, died during a swim race on March 16, 2025.

U.S. wave of big strikes on Yemen during Winter 2024-25 period

Prediction: "Very high chances of the U.S. entering or being involved directly in a military conflict or war during this period. There may be increased movement or new stationing of U.S. troops and weapons (especially those that use water or air media)."

What happened:
On March 15, 2025, the U.S. launched a "decisive and powerful" wave of air strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, President Donald Trump said. The Houthi-run health ministry said at least 31 people were killed and 101 others were injured in the strikes. The strikes on March 15 were carried out in part by fighter aircraft from the Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, which is in the Red Sea, officials said. One U.S. official told Reuters that strikes might continue for several weeks now.

United States, Signal group chat leak scandal during March 2025

What happened:
On March 11, 2025, Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of the magazine The Atlantic, was inadvertently invited to join a group chat of senior U.S. government officials on the Signal encrypted messaging service. The journalist was invited by Michael Waltz, the national security advisor, in an alleged mistake, and none of the government officials seemingly noticed Goldberg's presence as they began discussing imminent classified military operations against the Houthis in Yemen. On March 15, according to Goldberg, Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, used the group chat to share plans of forthcoming strikes, including information on targets, weapons and attack sequencing. As of the time of writing, the "chat scandal," also known now as Signalgate, has raised a huge media uproar in the U.S.

United States, death of former Senator Alan Simpson

Prediction: "Death of the ruler or of someone in high position and with an expansive personality possible during this period."

What happened:
Alan Simpson, a Senator for around 19 years, from the state of Wyoming, died on March 14, 2025. While former President Jimmy Carter also died during this period, and he certainly had a higher position than Simpson, but Simpson had that towering, "larger-than-life personality" that the astrology had showed. At 6 ft 7 in, he was expansive in more ways than one!

Germany, strikes during Winter 2024-25 period

What has happened:
Local public transport workers in some states of Germany went on strike on February 28, 2025. Healthcare workers across Germany were on strike on March 6, 2025. A one-day strike by workers at 13 German airports, including the Frankfurt and Munich hubs and all the country’s other main destinations, has caused the cancellation of most flights on March 10, 2025.

Germany, federal election and results
Predictions published on: December 10, 2024
Seasonal prediction made for period: end of December 2024 to end of March 2025
Predictions: (1) "Federal election looks likely in this period, which is again not likely to provide majority to any one party." (2) "SPD unlikely to be the party with the Chancellor, so Olaf Scholz unlikely to continue as Chancellor. SPD, in fact, may suffer from quite a drubbing. Some unexpected results may come from the elections."

What happened:
Elections were scheduled on February 23, 2025, and when the results came out, no party got a majority. The SPD did indeed get a drubbing, with the lowest vote share in its history, and Olaf Scholz conceded defeat. Unexpected results were many. The far left party Die Linke ("The Left"), which had been written off by pundits, surged in the final days of the election campaign and got a whopping 8.8% vote share. The liberal Free Democrats (FDP), who had been part of the ruling coalition, could not even manage 5% of the vote share, thus throwing them out of the Parliament.

India, KIIT case in Odisha and troubles in India-Nepal relations

What happened:
A Nepalese student, studying in an Indian university, was found dead in her hostel room on February 16, 2025. It is being presumed as suicide on account of sexual harassment. The issue seems to have led to strong repression of protests by a heavy-handed administration and police and alleged mistreatment of Nepalese students by the university staff. Relations between Nepal and India are affected as a result.

India, death of several women in an incident during Winter 2024-25 period; spotlight on religion

What happened:
Six people, which includes five women, died an unfortunate death through stampede in the temple town of Tirupati on the evening of January 8, 2025. There have been several more such incidents during this period afflicting religious places, gatherings or events, such as Prayagraj stampede (January 29, 2025), Saputara bus crash carrying pilgrims (February 2, 2025), SUV carrying pilgrims crash in Prayagraj (February 15, 2025), and New Delhi railway station stampede (February 15, 2025).

India, reverses for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi assembly polls

What happened:
On February 8, 2025, results of Delhi assembly polls were declared. Aam Aadmi Party, after a decade of governance, was given a heavy defeat, including party founder Arvind Kejriwal himself losing his seat in the election.

Norway, crisis for the ruling government during Winter 2024-25 period

What happened:
The government collapsed. Norway’s eurosceptic Centre Party quit the government on January 30, 2025, in a dispute over the adoption of European Union energy policies, leaving the centre-left Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet) to rule alone eight months before an election. Labour is thus now ruling Norway with a minority government.

United States, major aviation accident during the period from late March 2024 to late March 2025

Prediction: "A major transportation accident, involving several deaths seems highly likely involving North America, especially the U.S. or Canada. The accident may happen in daytime. It seems that this may involve a long-distance flight, and to a foreign destination. The accident may be caused by either some kind of technical malfunction, miscommunication or hijacking/terrorism."

What really happened:
On January 29, 2025, American Eagle Flight 5342, operated by PSA Airlines, collided mid-air with a U.S. Army Sikorsky VH-60M Black Hawk, presumably killing all 67 people onboard both aircraft. Flight 5342, operated by a Bombardier CRJ701ER, was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita (Kansas) to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport near Washington, DC.
As the Sun was involved in my analysis, I had thought that the accident may happen during daytime, and as crossing the water was indicated, I had thought it may be a flight to a foreign destination. But the Sun can mean several things. I had not thought it would mean the capital city itself: the accident happened near the U.S. capital, Washington, DC, itself. Crossing the water can happen without oceans in between: in this instance, the accident happened on the Potomac River.

India, major railway accident during Winter 2024-25 period

What happened:
At least 12 people are reported to be dead and 40 injured in a train accident in Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, on January 22, 2025. There seems to have been a fire scare on a train, and panicked passengers jumped off from the train and got hit by another train on that track.

Indonesia, alleged fraud uncovered during Monsoon 2024-25 period

On January 21, 2025, Bloomberg reported that aquaculture unicorn startup EFishery allegedly faked more than 75% of its sales numbers.

France, health issues during Winter 2024-25

What has happened:
A flu epidemic is sweeping France. 87 hospitals, on January 10, 2025, launched the "White Plan," which allows the recall of health workers on vacation and the cancellation of some surgical operations. According to Santé publique France, the level of hospitalizations caused by the flu is "exceptionally serious."

United Kingdom, weakening of the status and position of Prime Minister Keir Starmer

What has happened:
The South African-American influential magnate Elon Musk waded into the grooming gangs scandal and attacked by his words Jess Phillips, Minister for Safeguarding, on January 1, 2025, and then Keir Starmer himself on January 2, 2025. Musk has even been repeatedly asking King Charles to dismiss the Labour government headed by Starmer. There are now talks of a national inquiry about the whole thing, with Starmer's past record as head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) coming into question.
This, I believe, was a very apt prediction, with the choice of the word I used, "undermined," perfectly representing Keir Starmer's position at this time.
Note also that I had said "Crimes affecting or involving the young or children ... could happen." Instead of the crimes happening now, the society and media is now talking about these old crimes against the young and children.
France, death of Jean-Marie Le Pen

What happened:
On January 7, 2025, "father of the French far right," Jean-Marie Le Pen, a millionaire and a former soldier, died of a heart attack at the age of 96. Mars was one of the afflictors, so I had thought fire or firearms to be a reason. I had forgotten about the heart attack, also something that is covered by Mars afflictions (given that Mars rules the blood). My oversight in picking the probable reason!

China, fall of buildings during Winter 2024-25 period

What happened:
On January 7, 2025, a massive earthquake, measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale, struck in Eastern Tibet, near the city of Shigatse. More than 3,600 homes were reduced to rubble, and more than 125 people died. The earthquake was also predicted by me in my Earthquake Watch post for the period of January 6-14, 2025. Canada, fall of Justin Trudeau government

What happened:
Justin Trudeau announced his resignation as Canada’s Prime Minister on January 6, 2025.

South Africa, prominent divorce case during Summer 2024-25

What has happened:
On January 3, 2025, news emerged that Misuzulu kaZwelithini, who is the reigning King of the Zulu Nation and Monarch of KwaZulu-Natal, had filed for divorce against one of his wives.
This is the first time in the Zulu Nation’s 209-year history that a king has divorced a wife. Since traditional Zulu customs historically did not allow for divorce, the case has sparked strong debate in Zulu and South African society.

South Korea, plane crash during Winter 2024

What happened:
In a deadly plane crash on December 29, 2024, more than 170 people died. Jeju Air flight 7C 2216 from Bangkok was carrying 175 passengers and six crew when disaster struck at the runway on the airport in Muan County, South Korea.

India, death of former prime minister Manmohan Singh

What happened:
Dr. Manmohan Singh, the two-time former Prime Minister of India, an eminent parliamentarian, economist and academician, who is considered the architect of India’s economic reforms in early 1990s, died on December 26, 2024.

India, ordinary success in sports during Autumn 2024

What happened:
The Indian men’s cricket team had an overall poor performance during this period. They won against a very low-ranked Bangladesh at home but were whitewashed for the first time in their history by any team at home in a three-Test series, when a lower-ranked New Zealand achieved this feat. Then, on their tour to Australia, out of three Test matches played in this period, they won one, lost one and drew one. The Indian women’s cricket team was whitewashed in an ODI series in Australia. The Indian women’s field hockey team won the Asian Champions Trophy, but in handball, the Indian women had an ordinary performance, failing to qualify for the world championships. In netball, India had a poor performance in the Asian Championships.

United States, Willow quantum chip breakthrough by Google

What has happened:
On December 9, 2024, Google announced its Willow quantum chip: an astonishing computing chip that takes just five minutes to complete tasks that would take 10 septillion (i.e., 1025) years for some of the world’s fastest supercomputers to complete. Willow can also reduce errors exponentially as one scales up using more qubits. This cracks a key challenge in quantum error correction that the field has pursued for almost 30 years. Willow was fabricated in Google’s state-of-the-art fabrication facility in Santa Barbara, California.

South Korea, the President, Yoon Suk Yeol, in trouble

What has happened:
On December 3, 2024, the South Korean President, Yoon Suk Yeol, declared suddenly a martial law. But then, in the face of severe domestic and international backlash, the President had to remove the martial law in a matter of hours. Tens of thousands of South Koreans have since then been on the streets, asking the ruler to resign. The ruling party's leaders are deserting Yoon, asking him to resign, leaving him more and more isolated. A lot of instability is there in the parliament right now, with tensions on the budget, the shortlived martial law and an impeachment motion against the President, which the ruling party says it will not support.

France, fall of the Michel Barnier government

India, Adani Group to face severe headwinds as January-March 2025 period nears

What has happened:
June 2024 first saw heavy floods in India's northeast region. Then, heavy monsoon struck India at several places in its western longitudes: Delhi, Thane, Palghar, Jabalpur, Rajkot. Airport canopies have fallen at three of the airports within a few days in June! Many other structures, too, have fallen around the country in the month of June as a result of heavy rains. April 12, 2024: I quote a Barron’s article (link not given): "Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei again warned Israel Wednesday [April 10, 2024] that it 'will be punished' for a Damascus air strike that killed seven Revolutionary Guards, two of them generals." (See this fascinating post regarding the Damascus air strike (non-)prediction.) The U.S. thinks that attacks by Iran or proxies on Israeli assets are imminent. As per my prediction, if an attack happens on Israeli assets, it would be by Iranian forces directly; at the same time, as I had said, it looks unlikely to me during this season. However, Khamenei has given his warning, so even if the attack does happen, I won’t be proved wrong.
April 14-15, 2024: Iran did launch a direct drone and missiles attack on Israel. April 14 and 15 are also the precise dates I had predicted to be critical for Iran and Israel (see here).

On the morning of April 7, 2024, the engine cover on a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 fell off after takeoff, striking a wing flap. Then, on April 9, 2024, this bombshell dropped: "The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating claims made by a Boeing engineer who says that sections of the fuselage of the 787 Dreamliner are improperly fastened together and could break apart mid-flight after thousands of trips." The engineer, now a whistleblower, claims that Boeing did not listen and prioritised production deliveries over safety. Boeing's stock price dropped by 2.5% as of the time of writing. I expect the troubles to continue for Boeing.

A strong storm, named Storm Kathleen, hit the UK on April 6, 2024, and is still wreaking havoc in the country as of April 7, 2024. Several flights were grounded, ferries cancelled and more than 100 flood alerts were in place as of the time of this update. There has been at least 1 death attributed to the storm. This is still a developing story.

What happened:
Russ Cook, a Briton, is believed to have become the first person in the world "first person to run tip to tip from southern to northern Africa." This seems to have been completed on April 7, 2024. English women's cricket team also rose to third in the one-day international rankings on the same day, after winning 2-1 against New Zealand in a bilateral series. On April 13, 2024, underdogs Great Britain beat France and qualified for the finals of the Billie Jean Cup 2024: in the words of The Guardian, "the victory stands as one of Great Britain’s greatest best-of-five rubber wins in the event this century."

An earthquake, measuring initially 4.8 on the Richter scale, struck New Jersey and the surrounding Northeastern United States on April 5, 2024. The earthquake was the strongest recorded in the Northeast in more than a decade, according to NBC News. This is still a developing story.

Heavy rainfall of up to 300mm is expected to fall in southeast Queensland and eastern NSW" on April 5 and 6, 2024. One person has already died in an incident of flash flooding.

Russia, attack on a crude oil processing facility

What really happened:
On April 2, 2024, it was a crude oil processing facility that came under attack, rather than a crude oil extraction facility. The Nizhnekamsk crude oil processing complex in Tatarstan, one of the biggest in Russia and located 1,300 km away from the front lines of the Ukraine-Russia war, came under a drone attack.
I probably cannot claim this prediction as 100% correct for the non-astrologer readers, given that they may say that I published the attack would be on a crude oil extraction facility rather than a crude oil processing facility. The complex attacked, though, lies just a 100 km away from oil extraction facilities.
However, to me as an astrologer, this is yet another validation of astrological methods.

What really happened:
On the evening of March 31, 2024, opposition party CHP had its best ever result in Turkey since 1977, winning local elections in key cities such as Istanbul and Ankara and even in some more conservative areas of Turkey. This was a shock to even many of the CHP voters, as most people were expecting a victory for Turkey's ruling party, AKP. At the time I was writing the prediction, I knew that most analysts and journalists were saying AKP would win, and that the CHP voters are demoralised, but I decided to go by what the charts showed me in making my prediction.

What really happened:
I thought that the discontent is within the armed forces, rather it turned out to be about the armed forces. I quote The Times of Israel: Beginning "April 1 [2024], the state will be legally obligated to begin drafting ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students and there will no longer be a legal basis for the state to pay such students’ monthly stipends." The High Court gave this interim order on March 28, 2024. This has now put extreme pressure on the current Israeli government and ruler.

South Africa, Limpopo bus accident

What really happened:
On March 28, 2024, around 45 passengers died in a bus crash in South Africa, with the bus coming from Botswana for Easter festivities. The driver lost control, the bus went over a bridge and hit the ground below, catching fire.
In this case, I could be said to be not completely accurate, as my lack of knowledge of Africa (that international/long-distance bus routes exist) made me think the accident would be on a plane or ship, and in that case my suspicion going more towards a cruise ship, as the travellers affected looked to be in a festive mood. Every single detail, apart from the type of vehicle, is accurate in the prediction though, even that the affected travellers would be in a festive mood (cruise ship/Easter celebrations).

United States, Baltimore cruise terminal forced closure

What really happened:
On March 26, 2024, at 01:27 EDT, the main spans of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the Baltimore metropolitan area, Maryland, United States, collapsed after a Sri Lanka-bound container ship struck one of its support pillars. The Port of Baltimore had to close as a result of the incident, and it could take a few months, at the earliest, for the port to be able to reopen. As a result, like what was said in the prediction above, Baltimore's cruise terminal (a seaside amusement business) has closed down for the time being.

Heavy rains during the weekend of March 23-24, 2024, killed at least 23 people in the southeastern states of Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo.
From April 29, 2024, onwards, severe flooding has been going on in the province of Rio Grande do Sul, leading to several fatalities and considered Brazil’s worst flooding in 80 years.

What really happened:
On March 20, 2024, i.e. 4 days after the prediction, train drivers at London Underground and 16 rail companies announced that there would be several strikes in April and May. On April 5, 2024, a 3-day strike action begins by several rail workers across the UK.
In the beginning of May 2024, the ruling Conservative party received a drubbing, losing around half of the 1,000 council seats they held.
