Brown University shooting & everything about the Brown shooter: all predicted in advance
The Providence tragedy as well as gunman details, all predicted well in advance
This post is about an astonishing series of predictions I had made about the Brown University shooting of December 2025 and all the minute details about the shooter, even before the police could locate the gunman or release details about him.
The Brown University shooting incident, as predicted
We start with September 17, 2025, when I made the following prediction for late September to late December 2025 period for the United States:
"Danger of incidents, which lead to death, continues in educational institutions/campuses or for students. This could happen in a place by the water."
(I used the word "continues" as I had predicted a tragic incident like the Charlie Kirk shooting for Summer 2025 period, which indeed did happen.)
Thereafter, in my earthquake predictions for the period of December 3-13, 2025, during the course of which I also often predict about other malefic events that I discover in the course of my quake predictions work, I predicted this on December 2, 2025:
"There may be strong violence and other malefic incidents near [within 250 km of] this line…. Fires, explosions or incidents relating to firearms could take place near this line…. There could be a noteworthy incident of robbery or hooliganism in this part of the line (Providence-Nantucket-Portland wider area, USA)."
"This line" here referred to a straight line running approximately 120 km from Providence. I had anyway named the "Providence-Nantucket-Portland" area specifically, as that area had appeared to me strongly malefic within the period of December 3-13.
Some of this can be summarised in this picture:
What I had predicted came to pass, sadly, on December 13, 2025, when a mass shooting occurred on the campus of Brown University in Providence (Rhode Island), resulting in 2 deaths and several injuries. Providence indeed is a place by the water, as it is situated at the mouth of the Providence River at the head of Narragansett Bay.
The Brown University shooter details, as predicted
Soon after the incident, I drew the charts to see where the shooter was, as he was believed to be still at large. The charts showed me that he was north of Providence, and then I forgot all about it. Soon, news came that police had caught some "person of interest" (believing him to be the shooter) from a hotel southwest of Providence. I was surprised by the direction (southwest instead of north), and I thought the police had caught the wrong man: how could he be southwest? Soon, the police also discovered their error and released the wrong detainee. Thereafter, I went back to my chart.
On December 15, 2025, at 5:51 pm Providence time ("local time"), I tweeted an update from my side, reproduced here in full:
"My calculations suggest the Brown University gunman is currently located north of Providence and is moving westwards (thus getting more and more northwest). He must have crossed Rhode Island border yesterday night or early this morning (local time) [i.e., December 14 night to December 15 morning], but is still vulnerable. However, he may gain a position of strength if not caught soon. Position of strength in such a case means that either he evades arrest, or that he mounts another attack somewhere.
Interestingly, my calculations also suggest that he may have been sick, injured or unfit in some physical or mental manner. He may also still be armed and could use his arms again once he gains a position of strength.
I believe December 16 evening to December 17 morning is when something could unravel regarding the affair: either he attacks again somewhere (may not be Providence again, as I think he is on the move; towns or cities northwest of Providence and not too far should be on alert) or he is caught before he could gain that position of strength."
The shooter was indeed not in Rhode Island anymore and also was indeed located north (but slightly east of north, rather than west of north): the shooter returned to Massachusetts during December 14, according to federal officials, thus corroborating my analysis of his movements.
I had thought the shooter could make another attack after the morning of December 15. He indeed did so. On the evening of December 15, he shot an MIT professor (and the director of MIT's Plasma Science and Fusion Center) at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts.
Now, I had thought that December 16 evening to December 17 morning is when things would unravel, and during the same time frame I had also found the shooter to be vulnerable. This is indeed what transpired:
The MIT professor, who had been shot by the Brown gunman on the evening of December 15, died on the morning of December 16. By the afternoon of December 16, the police now started to link the two incidents (the police had earlier ruled out a link between the two), and the Internet chatter also started to pick up strongly on the possible link. This led to more clues for the police, and in the meanwhile a Reddit user, who had confronted the Brown shooter before the Brown shooting, also went to the police to identify a rental car that the gunman had hired. As I had predicted, December 16 to 17 would bring unraveling of the case.
On December 18, while the police started zeroing in on the suspect in Salem (New Hampshire), located just east of north of Providence, I tweeted this analysis of who the gunman could be, at 6:52 pm local time:
"Further analysis: The gunman, says my analysis, is most probably a well-learned person (e.g., higher ed student or professor) and may be a foreigner (or having travelled from foreign location some time back). He could also be from a hilly place.
Also, the gunman could be hiding/staying currently on an agricultural farm or lumber yard, west of Salem."
I published this several hours before police found the shooter and released his details to the public.
Later that evening, at around 9 pm, the police would find the dead body of the shooter, and after some more time, details would start coming in about the shooter.
The gunman, named Claudio Neves Valente, indeed turned out to be a well-learned person: a once PhD scholar at Brown who didn’t complete his degree. He indeed turned out to be a foreigner (Portuguese). I do not know his native or previous residence town in Portugal, but much of Portugal, including capital Lisbon, is hilly.
(Update made on December 24: Claudio Valente was born in Torres Novas, an area with rolling hills. He lived for much of his childhood and teen years in the neighbouring Entroncamento. Before going to the Brown University for his doctoral studies, the brilliant physics student had graduated from Lisbon’s Instituto Superior Técnico with the highest grade in his course. I found these details in this Portuguese newspaper article.)
The one area where I made a mistake was in determining his location to the west or east of north of Providence: while I had always believed the shooter was just west to the north of Providence (thus west of Salem), he had always been east of the north of Providence.
The police found the shooter dead in a warehouse. I had thought it would be a lumber warehouse where the shooter was, so a different type of warehouse than what I had analysed. But it was a warehouse. I do not know what the warehouse was made of. If it was made of wooden material, then I wouldn’t be wrong at all, but if not, then I was somewhat wrong about the type of storage place.
The news of the shooter’s death, though, confused me. If you recall, I had said that after the morning of December 17, the shooter was not vulnerable anymore for the time being. It is during December 16 evening to December 17 morning that I had said the shooter was vulnerable. Hence, I was confused: how could this be? How could he be caught or he have committed suicide on December 18? Have they got the wrong guy, again? But everything else matched: my analysis of who the gunman is and the details released by the police about the gunman. So, how???
The confusion got resolved when, on December 19, it was reported that autopsy confirmed that the gunman is estimated to have shot himself to death on December 16 and had been lying for 2 days dead in the warehouse. Thus, he had indeed been very vulnerable during December 16 evening to December 17 morning: he had already killed himself on December 16!
I write this post not because I find any kind of pleasure in a tragedy. I, of course, do not. This was a tragedy which not only took the lives of a few people but also made many others live in fear till the actual gunman was caught. I write this post for two reasons:
(1) Some people, foolishly, try to dismiss correct predictions as just "coincidences," even when you are predicting daily earthquakes to the precise kilometre! Now what I predicted regarding the Brown gunman, almost every single detail, while sitting here in Norway, is very difficult to be dismissed as coincidence by even those whose ideology and bias don’t allow them to think of astrology as a science.
(2) Many people, including astrologers, have forgotten the great use of astrology in detective work. Many astrologers know the story of the lost fish and how the English genius William Lilly found them (if you don’t know it, search for "fish for my provision" here for a delightful astro-detective story): it is time to revive that tradition and also for the police, dare I say, to consult good astrologers when they can’t crack a case open. I have, for example, written about where the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is highly likely to be (giving even the exact coordinates of the watery depths where the new search should be centered around): but did the FBI listen, would Ocean Infinity listen?
Palmist Ankur is a leading mundane astrologer based in Norway. He has numerous successful earthquake predictions to his credit, including the Kamchatka mega quake and the highly damaging Bangladesh, Bohol (Philippines), Afghanistan, Mandalay and Shigatse earthquakes in the recent past, many right down to the day of the quake. He has also successfully predicted several disasters and accidents. All his astrological services can be viewed here.
